Action Tuesday

Dear Lovely People, 1 Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. 3 For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. 4 In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. 5 The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. Psalm 95:1-5 This week we have begun our adventure through the Gospel of Mark and our first chapter was briefly looked at during our fantastic time at Letton Hall on Sunday. It was so good to see so many gathered together, able to sing, chat, pray and play together. This Sunday we'll be in the church building and we're looking at a system to enable social distancing for those that would like it, with masks being optional. Today we'll continue our look at Mark 1 as I talk about how Jesus is portrayed very quickly as the Messiah who has all authority, seeking out those who want to follow him and is himself the Good News. To watch today's message, please CLICK HERE As we continue our series, we'd like to encourage you to read Mark 2 this week, asking God to speak to you as you do so. The weekly prayer focus from the Eastern Baptist Association is for Girton Baptist Church near Cambridge. Click here for the prayer points. And please don't forget we have an opportunity to pray together by Zoom tomorrow night - see blue box below.Reminder for Church Members: Church meeting (at the church, not Zoom) tonight, Tuesday 20th July at 7pm Masks can be worn but do not have to be. There will be opportunity to sit apart from others or not. We understand that everyone will feel differently and will try and accommodate everyone’s wishes. Please be patient with us as we work with these new ways of doing things. Love and Blessings, Dave
