Tuesday in Context

Dear Church,

Praise the Lord, you his servants; praise the name of the Lord. Let the name of the Lord be praised, both now and for evermore. From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised.

Psalm 113:1-3

Hope all is well with you.

Like last Tuesday, we have a guest video today. This one is from Ian Gardner in which he helps us understand the meaning of ‘context’ when it comes to reading the Bible, using the Gospel of Mark as an example – he puts it in a clear and helpful way. Thank you Ian. To watch or listen to it please CLICK HERE

Also, as promised, we have the recorded version of Bernard and Beckie’s sketch which they did live at the Family service on Sunday. To watch it please CLICK HERE

Please continue to pray for Nigel and Elaine as they have time away.

The weekly prayer focus from the Eastern Baptist Association is for Frinton Free Church, Essex and can be found byclicking here.

It was great to hear Jessica bring what God had laid on her heart on Sunday and I was reminded of this Psalm (see above) of praise while she was speaking. If you missed the service at 10.45 yesterday, you can watch it on our YouTube channel. If you would like to see the sermon only, please click here.

May God bless you all richly this day,

Much Love,

Dave
