A difficult question!

In your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. 1 Peter 3:15 Hi all, Well, last night was rather nerve-wracking for the football fans, wasn't it? I think it's really good to see the country being brought together by all that the team are achieving. Let's hope they can complete the final step on Sunday evening. For our video message today, we have something a little bit different for you. As we continue to reflect through the week on how we need to be prepared to give an answer to those who don't know Jesus, we have decided to share a video that Ian Gardner was asked to produce for a school year 2 class discussion on "Why do people have different views about God?" Ian says of this, 'To me it sounded like a question that those in Bible College would spend weeks on! Anyway, here is my effort ... how would you answer that question?" Perhaps you could take a moment to think what your answer would be, before you CLICK HERE to listen to Ian's. Please take note of the yellow box further down this email, which contains all the information you need for our upcoming Open Garden event this Sunday. Ann Goodfellow, our hostess, has been linked to our church for many years, and it would be a lovely if plenty of us turned up to be a blessing to her on Sunday. At the moment, the weather looks like it will be OK, so can I please encourage you to come along. Hope to see you there! Also, we currently only have 33 signed up for our live service this Sunday morning, so you still have opportunity to join us. Julie is off on Friday, so it would be great if you could sign up by the end of today, if possible. We'll be looking at the final part of Acts 2, which focuses on community, so you can come and experience that too! Blessings, Nigel
