Devoted

Hi Everyone, It seems like a while since I've done one of these emails...I actually nearly forgot to do it and am putting this together quite late on Wednesday evening - oops. Today's message looks at being devoted, based on that single word from Acts 2:42. I'll not say any more about it, rather you can watch it by CLICKING HERE On Sunday, as you know, we'll be meeting at Letton Hall. It should be an exciting time for all of us as we worship together in the open air. The forecast is looking good as well. This will be followed by a picnic so please bring your lunch with you and something to sit on (chair / blanket etc). Letton can provide some chairs if you don't have one, from what I've been told. Over the following 6 Sundays after Letton Sunday (school summer holidays: 25th July - 29th Aug) we will be having services in the church building which will not be live-streamed. Our aim is to provide some activities for the children / young people to do during the sermon in the garden or back hall (or both). For this to happen, we need people to be willing to help out with these awesome young ones. So, if you are happy to be asked to help on one of those Sundays please let us know, either directly or through the office. Nigel will be doing one Sunday, I will be doing one and Ian Clarke (Jnr) will head up one of the other Sundays. That still leaves 3 Sundays we need people / helpers for. Let's work together to be a blessing to our wonderful church families. "They devoted themselves..." Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore. Psalm 125:1-2 Blessings, Dave
