Hi all,
Today is Maundy Thursday, the day on which we remember Jesus washing his disciples feet, and sharing a final Passover meal with them the day before he went to the cross. In Luke 22:15, Jesus says that he has been ‘very eager’ to eat the meal with them before his suffering begins. And he is very eager to meet with you today. To help you spend time in his presence, Ian and Sue Gardner have put together a reflective communion for us, and you can engage with that by clicking here.
Also, don’t forget that the church will be open tomorrow, Good Friday, for you to call in if you would like to. The information about this is in the grey box further down this email. We will also have communion elements available for you, should you want to take the opportunity to remember and give thanks to Jesus.
We’re delighted to be having a gathering in the building on Easter Sunday, BUT we are now at full capacity. If you missed your opportunity to sign up, then please let Julie know today, as there could potentially be cancellations.
Finally, thank you to Jane Hunt who has reminded us that Spring Harvest is online again this year. It runs from 4th-8th April, and you can find more about it by CLICKING HERE. Also, the adult programme is now available and you can access that by CLICKING HERE.

After washing their feet, he put on his robe again and sat down and asked, “Do you understand what I was doing? You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and you are right, because that’s what I am. And since I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other’s feet. I have given you an example to follow. Do as I have done to you.
