Plans

For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah 29:11

Hello again, everyone,

The very well-known and oft-quoted verse above reminds us that God had plans to prosper his people during the most difficult of times, and so we can be sure that he has plans to prosper us in the midst of all our challenges. The Leadership Team have been seeking God about his plans for DBC in a variety of areas, one of which is with regards to restarting Sunday morning gatherings. As a result of our praying and listening, we have a short-term plan of action, which I share in today’s video message. I also take the opportunity to encourage us to think practically about God’s plans for us, as individuals and as his church, as we consider all that he is doing, as described in Psalm 146. Please click here to access today’s video.

Also, don’t forget about our new Thrive groups, which have been launched to help you get connected with 3 or 4 others to journey together – pointing one another to Jesus, caring for one another, and encouraging one another as we serve God in his world.
