Psalm 146: Week 5

Hello everyone,

It’s the second Sunday in May, and we’re so pleased to be able to welcome people into our building for today’s service at 10.30am, which will also be livestreamed to those who haven’t signed up. We are focussing on the next description of what God does from Psalm 146 – The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. If you’re not coming along today, then PLEASE CLICK HERE to engage with the service on the DBC YouTube channel. Please note that as we are now having in-person services, we have suspended our Zoom Coffee and Chat for the time being.

Speaking of services, Next Sunday we have TWO!! At 9am there will be a family-friendly service with up to 6 people sitting at tables with activities to engage with (Yes, I did say 9am, but then you have the rest of the day…) Please note that this service will be designed for families BUT there will also be a 10.30 service – please see blue box below for details and to book in.

This evening, at 6pm, we have our Mission Partners prayer time online. If you would like to join in then please let me know and I will send you a link to do so. The information we will be using to enable us to pray for them can be found by CLICKING HERE

…then the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow. And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way.

Isaiah 35:5-8

Blessings,

Dave
