Tomorrow there is an Early Service at 9am followed by All Age Worship at 10.30am which is also the annual Toy Service. New toys brought to church will go to The Salvation Army for them to distribute to local families who are struggling this Christmas.
CAP Hampers: Please bring these in by 3rd December; if you have any problems (or don't think you will be able to complete the hamper by the 3rd) please contact Catherine or Morgan.
Our Advent book by Steve Brady is called 'The Incredible Journey'. There are just a few copies remaining. Roy Searle will begin the series of sermons relating to the book next Sunday. He will also be sharing with us next Saturday at 10am (when we'll also enjoy coffee and croissants - see the email sent out on Wednesday) and although you're welcome to turn up on the day, it helps with catering if we know numbers, so if you know you're coming, please sign up here .
The notice sheet can be found by clicking here We still need volunteers to help with the Nativity Photo Booth tomorrow and it's not too late to help - let Ian Gardner or Ian Clarke know. Ladies! There will be a Ladies Christmas Social on Tuesday, 5th December. Please email me on julie@derehambaptist.org by 25th November. See the Christmas Social poster for details. Men! On Wednesday 6th December at 7pm, the men's group are having their Christmas meal at the Gemini! We'd love to get as many men there as possible to celebrate, so if you're interested in coming, please email Matt R (matt.rogers@derehambaptist.org) to book in. SCAM WARNING FROM LYNNE BIRKS: If someone, claiming to be a police officer, phones to say that they have in custody a person purporting to be a relative of yours with your bank card in their possession, it is an elaborate scam. Put the phone down. Wait a few minutes and check your phone has resumed a normal dialling tone.
Please send your requests for prayer to prayer@derehambaptist.org and, other than for emergencies, we will share them in this regular email.
Blessings,
Julie
