Sunday 22nd October 2023

Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ? Because there is one loaf, we, who are many, are one body, for we all share the one loaf. 1Corinthains 10:16-17

Although many separate things are going on today, we are still joined together in Christ as it is another one of those fantastic Sundays when we have a lot going on:

At 9am, we have our Early Service at DBC

At 10.00, we have Fishes Sunday at Toftwood Village Hall

At 10.30, we have our All-Age service at DBC

Also coming up:

Next Sunday we have a number of baptisms at our 10.30 service (please do pray for the folk who are going to be baptised). We currently have no one to help with refreshments after the service on that Sunday so if you're able to serve then please let Dave or Julie know. Thank you.

On next Sunday evening (29th) we have a joint Youth Service (5.30 - 7.30pm) with Fountain of Life church. If it is something you'd like to help out at then please let Dave know. Could do with some help with refreshments, set-up and clear up.

And, on 31st Oct, we have the Light Party. Again, help needed with serving hot dogs and refreshments - please contact Dave about this.

On Friday 3rd November we will be having a church bonfire and firework display (see below)

Thank you for being such a fantastic church.

Love and blessings,

Dave
