Sunday 23rd January

How blessed is God! And what a blessing he is! He's the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessing in him. Long before he laid down earth's foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son. Ephesians 1:3-6 (The Message)

Today we have two services, neither of which will be live-streamed. Firstly, there is the 9am service led by Jessica and Nigel will be preaching. Then there is the all-age service led by Anita where we continue to look at what it means to be courageous.

Later this afternoon we have our first church members meeting of the year - 3pm at church. It's a great opportunity for church members to understand where we currently are as a church, hear some future thoughts and spend time praying through these things as we go ahead into 2022.

Next weekend some of our youth are away at a gathering in Sheringham, at The Lighthouse Church. Do please pray for them to have a great time connecting with other young people and drawing closer to God together.

We are hoping to have some baptisms soon (exact date to be arranged). Is this something you or someone you know might be interested in? If so, please let Nigel or Dave know and we can put a plan together.

May God richly bless you and those you come into contact with through you,

Much love,

Dave
