1 I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;

I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.

2 I will be glad and rejoice in you;

I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High. Psalm 9:1-2

Firstly, we would like to start this email by thanking all those who have provided cake, food, finances and offers of help for Newday (summer youth camp). Also, we recognise that prayer plays an important role in this for the young people as they spend time worshipping, learning, having fun, eating and, maybe, sleeping over their time at camp so please do pray for them and for those leading this coming week. The young people are: Amy, Esmee, Trinity, Jemimah, Harmony, Enid, Sammy, Joshy, Thomas, Kieran & Tiago. Those responsible are: Dave, Beckie, Ian, Sue and Faith.

It's OK if you don't recognise some of the names but an encounter with Jesus changes everything.

Today it is a baptism service! A great time of celebration together as we witness Brian Butt sharing his testimony and being baptised. It's at the usual time of 10.30am. The sermon will be towards the beginning of the service and during which the youth and children go into the back hall for a fun (I hope) teaching session on what baptism is all about. They will then return to witness the proceedings and worship together later on.

We have some exciting news about a toddler group which will be starting in the church building in September.
