Sunday 7th November

Thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ's triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere. 15 For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. 16 To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life. And who is equal to such a task? 2 Corinthians 2:14-16

Smells are one of those things in which we often differ in preference. For example, some would love the smell of petrol while other would almost gag at the stench of it. And it is similar to the message of the Gospel as described in the above verses. In today's service we'll touch on that a little as we dig into Mark 14 together. It would be good, if you're able, to read the chapter before participating in the service today as I will be covering almost all of it but only reading small sections.

Also today, we have an opportunity to take communion together. We plan to revert to communion as we used to take it but with the option of having an individual 'all-in-one' cup if you would prefer.

And, we will be live-streaming today's service. If you'd like to join us on-line then PLEASE CLICK HERE

This evening there is the opportunity to gather together in the building to pray for those who we support around the world. Come and find out what God is doing in other countries through the personal connections we have. Tea / coffee served at 5.30 with prayer to start at 6pm, finishing by 7pm

Love and Blessings,

Dave
