Sunday March 12th 2023

But he was pierced for our transgressions,

he was crushed for our iniquities;

the punishment that brought us peace was on him,

and by his wounds we are healed.

Isaiah 53:5

We are continuing our Lent series this morning in our 10.30am service, as we look at a major prophecy in Isaiah and consider "The Power of the Cross", which will be the focus of our readings next week. There will also be some time this morning for those who would like to, to share a testimony about what God has been doing in your life or perhaps offer some reflections on the Lent readings. I hope it will be a blessing to all of you who join us this morning, but even if not, you can come and be a blessing to others! See you there.

Before that, at 9am, Dave and Lisa will be leading our Families service at DBC, and then they'll both be heading to Toftwood for Fishes Sunday, which begins at 10am. Please do pray that God will be at work in both of these gatherings.

Thanks all,

Nigel
