Tuesday 27th July

Praise the Lord, my soul;

all my inmost being, praise his holy name.

Praise the Lord, my soul,

and forget not all his benefits—

who forgives all your sins

and heals all your diseases,

who redeems your life from the pit

and crowns you with love and compassion,

who satisfies your desires with good things

so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalm 103:1-5

Dear Wonderful People,

It was great to sing together this past Sunday, raising the roof with praise to our awesome God.

We will be continuing our walk through the Gospel of Mark this week, focussing on Mark chapter 2. On Sunday I looked at Jesus' priority in a couple of situations and it appeared to be 'getting rid of sin'. In today's talk I will briefly look at two definitions of sin, one from the Old Testament and one from the New Testament. To watch it, please CLICK HERE.

As we go through this week, please do have a read of Mark 3 and ask what God might be saying to you or the church through what you are reading.

In the dark grey box below, our prayer topics encourage us to pray for 3 people every day to come to know Jesus. As you do this, look for opportunities to chat with people about Christ as well, when you go about your week.

Speaking of prayer, the weekly prayer focus from the Eastern Baptist Association is for Light of Life Baptist Church, Ormesby. Click here for the prayer points and click here for the video.

Beckie and I are away Wed - Fri (inclusive)

AND, Julie is on annual leave Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week.

Love and Blessings,

Dave
