Wednesday 16th February

God knew what he was doing from the very beginning. He decided from the outset to shape the lives of those who love him along the same lines as the life of his Son. The Son stands first in the line of humanity he restored. We see the original and intended shape of our lives there in him. Romans 8:29 (The Message)

On Sunday, Nigel mentioned the SHAPE series that we engaged with as a church this time last year. SHAPE is designed to help each one of us understand more about who God has created us to be and what he has gifted us to do. As we think about taking courage, we thought it would be helpful to share this series for any who weren't around when we ran it. Below are the links to the messages we preached on the 5 SHAPE areas (Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, Experience) and the assessments we put together to help each of us learn about ourselves. The assessments are in two formats: Microsoft Excel, which will automatically display your results once you've completed them; and PDF, which you can print and fill in yourself. We hope you find them helpful. If you completed them last year, perhaps now would be a good time to revisit your results to see if there is any learning that might help you discern how God might be calling you to take courage in 2022.

At the last Little Fishes Sunday I was asked if we were able to provide a highchair for one of the families but we didn't have one handy. Does anyone reading this happen to have a highchair which we could borrow for Little Fishes Sunday (This coming Sunday)? If so, please let me know: dave@derehmabpatist.org or 01362 698256 (feel free to leave a message) Thank you.

May you know the nearness of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, this day.

Love and Blessings,

Dave
