Dear Church,

How are you all doing?

As you know, Nigel and Elaine are away this week. Please do keep them in your prayers as they rest and spend quality time together.

Today's video is not really related to the Sunday message (It was going to be and then...well...). It is about you and God and how we prioritise that in our ever busy lives. To watch it, Please CLICK HERE

Below are a couple of messages from members of our congregation and please do read the pastoral prayer request after I sign off.

Message from Roger Wells:

Mission Prayer

We shall be meeting on Sunday at 5.30pm for a cup of tea/coffee and to catch up on mission matters more generally. We shall then pray for our mission partners from 6pm to 7pm. All are welcome.

Message from Tricia Waller (Secretary to Management Committee) Dereham Town Pastors: Dereham Town Pastors are beginning a new training programme on Saturday 16th October for old and new volunteers. We have spaces and would warmly welcome any more people who want to join us!! We are a group of Christian adults from several local churches who go out on the streets on Friday afternoon and evenings. We seek to be a friend to the lonely and a positive influence to youngsters and adults we meet. If you are interested please contact our Teams Co-ordinator Sandy Taylor at The Eastern Baptist Association prayer focus this week is for Norwich Central Baptist Church. Please CLICK HERE to see the prayer points. And to finish this email, let's be reminded of the one who we serve: God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honour and might for ever. Amen. 1Timothy 6:15b-16 Love and Blessings, Dave
