Dear Wonderful People,

It is great to be back in my Church Office...and a bit weird. It's a little like reverse culture shock (if you've ever experienced it), whereby everything seems very familiar and yet so much has changed. Praise the Lord that the one we worship is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8) and consequently we can be totally confident in him and... that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 1:6)

Today's message is a slight deviation from our journey through Mark; we'll be looking at Psalm 81. Have a fresh read of it before watching the video so it is present in your mind. The talk is about being free from 'empire building' and being set free into the wilderness. To watch / listen to it, PLEASE CLICK HERE

The Eastern Baptist Association prayer focus this week is for Perry Baptist Church in Cambridgeshire. Please click here for the prayer points

Please do have a look at the pastoral section below this email.

Christine Taylor is running some basic food hygiene training on Friday morning from 10.30am, which will incorporate the new 'Natasha's Law' and how it will affect food served at church. If anyone needs this training but can't attend on Friday please let Julie know as Christine has kindly offered to run another if required.

Beckie and I will be away from Friday of this week.

May God bless you richly in all you do,

Much love,

Dave
