Saturday's News From the Office

Dear all,

If your emails lately have looked a bit different, it's because we had problems with people not receiving the emails sent via a platform called 'Mailchimp' so we have switched to sending through our Churchsuite software.

The leadership have decided that we will leave the driveway barrier up from now on as the church is starting to open up during the week, so don't worry if you go past and see it up.

Dave will be at Youth Camp at Brandon Parva (near Mattishall) next week. Please pray for Dave, the leaders and the young people attending, that they would meet with Jesus.

If you come into church during the week, even for a short time, please use the register by the annexe door to sign in and out. This is so that in the event of a fire, the emergency services know who is in the building.

This prayer was in yesterday's Lectio 365 reading:

Jesus, after a year and a half of pandemic restrictions, economic strain, political upheaval and revelations of injustice, we, your Church, are weary. Wake us up! Strengthen us to join in with Your mission. I name my church - Dereham Baptist Church - and other churches in my community and pray the age old prayer - come Holy Spirit!
