For as the soil makes the young plant come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations. Isaiah 61:11

I love how our key verse specifies a particular quality of God - his sovereignty. It's all about him, it's his work, and he get's the thanks and praise for it. 

Today we have an early service at 9am where I will be preaching on knowing God and his ways. Then at 10.45 we have our fantastic All-age service led by Anita.

Between the services we will be able to enjoy time together so if you are just planning on being at the 10.30, come early for food and drink...munch and mingle.

In both of these services you'll have an opportunity to meet Pr Paulo and his family. He is the person chosen by the Portuguese congregation to be their pastor which we will need to ratify in our upcoming church meeting at the end of the month so please do take the opportunity to get to know him.
