Sunday 24th April 2022

What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up. 1Corinthians 14:26 Church: it's who we (together) are rather than what we do. We are described as a body (1Cor 12:27), with Christ as the head and as a bride, with Christ as the groom (inferred from Mat 9:15). As 'church' we are to be known for our love for one another (John 13:35), with the life of Jesus being evident amongst us. Church is God's idea, His design and we will be considering it more today in the service. The Ukraine Support Hub on Friday was a great success. Thank you to everyone who was involved in it. Click here for the story which is now online and it will be in the EDP on Monday and Dereham Times on Thursday. I went to Ipswich last Thursday for my Ministerial Recognition Committee interviews for accreditation and it went very well. I will be going to the residential for the final phase of the process once the dates for it have been sorted out. Thank you all for your encouragement and prayers in this process.

Lastly...Is there someone who you haven't seen for a while who is part of the church? Why not give them a call or invite them for a cuppa and a catch up? May God bless you richly as you continue to live for him, Much love, Dave
