Psalm 28:7-9 says:

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.

8 The Lord is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one. 9 Save your people and bless your inheritance; be their shepherd and carry them for ever.

Have a read of those verses (slowly and out loud, if you are able) and allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you through them this day.

Today, we have two services, the early 9am service with preacher Lance Birks, and the 10.30 all-age service led by Anita. Neither of these services will be live-streamed and it will be great to see you there, if you are able to come.

This coming week Nigel and Elaine are having some time away - may God bless them both with rest and joy as they spend time together, away from their normal church responsibilities.
