Covenant Sunday - 7th January 2024

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honour one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervour, serving the Lord. Romans 12:9-11

Happy New Year!! May you know the peace and grace of Jesus and be encouraged by Christ as we enter this New Year together. Let us look ahead into the unknown days and weeks to come with confidence in God because he is our Rock and our Safe Place. 

Today we have our covenant service where we say promises to God and to each other, to recommit ourselves to Christ, to one another and to God's mission in our community. The wording you will find in yesterday's email if you'd like to check it out before the service. You will also be given a printed copy to take home as a reminder of what you've committed to. We will then be sharing family communion together as part of it.

Youth and children's work is organised for this Sunday.

Have you made any resolutions this year to either stop something or take up a new hobby, routine or something else? If so, may God strengthen your resolve to continue in it.
