Saturday's news (from Julie)

The Ukraine Support Hub at church on a Friday has closed due to the success of the Ukraine Aid Centre on a Friday 10-4pm resulting in falling numbers. It was definitely been a blessing to the Ukrainians and their hosts for the last 6 weeks and we are continuing our support - and are currently thinking and praying about how we can best do that.

There will be a basic First Aid (Life Support) Course run by St John Ambulance at church on Saturday, 10th September- this will be open to everyone so please put it in your calendar now. More details to follow.

The following people have first aid knowledge and have kindly said they can be called upon to help if there is a first aid need in church on a Sunday:

Angie Hamblin, Stephanie Middleton, Jane Allinson, Christine Taylor.

Derek Mann, Dave Pyman and Paul Yaxley are stripping out the gents' toilets today, please pray for health and strength for them and for Richard Frary as he starts work on the refurbishment of this room on Monday. Thanks again to Graham Tuttle who got a grant for us to be able to do the work.

A reminder of the baptisms today at the 6pm Portuguese speaking service - all are welcome.

Pat Stone and Val Butt are going to be fundraising for Vision Norfolk at a coffee morning at the church on Saturday 9th July. If anyone can make a cake, please let Pat know.
