Saturday's news (from Julie)

A huge "thank you" to all those who turned up to help with the wood chipping of the top level of garden! Thanks also go to David Pyman who organised the free wood chip and Paul Yaxley for also using his trailer to ferry the bags of it to the church.

Tomorrow we have another opportunity to gather together at Letton Hall to worship instead of a service in our building. It will begin at 10.30 and will finish at 2pm. Please bring something to sit on, a camping gazebo if you'd like shelter - and a picnic (this is NOT a 'bring and share' but just be prepared to share your picnic if people arrive without food).

Throughout August there are a series of 'Open Gardens' where we can meet and spend time together in someone's garden. The first one is at Eileen and Richard Fisher's on 7th August and as they have someone doing the catering, would like you to book in prior to 1st August so that they know how many they are catering for. Please book in here: https://derehambaptist.churchsuite.com/events/9ygmvrbh

As a church we have agreed to provide refreshments and allow use of our toilets to coincide with Dencora's Fun Day on Saturday, August 27th. Please let me know if you'd be prepared to help serve refreshments or make a cake to bless our community. Basic Life Support Course - Saturday, 10th September 9.30-12. An idea of who will be coming would be very helpful. julie@derehambaptist.org Prayer & Prophecy will be via Google Meet on Wednesday, 27th July 7pm - 8pm and the link can be found by clicking here
