Saturday's News (from Nigel!)

Julie is still on holiday, so there's no notice sheet this week, but I've decided to take the opportunity to share a couple of things with you: Firstly is a reminder that today, between 11am & 1pm, it is the official opening of the new Eleanor Fenn Garden, which is right next to our back garden. Any and all of you are invited to come along and celebrate Dereham's latest addition! DBC are providing the refreshments and it looks like the weather will be clement, so it should be a special time. Above is a picture of the garden receiving its final preparations! We'll hopefully see you there! Our Mission Prayer team met last Sunday and we have decided that we will be putting together the prayer sheet following the meeting rather than before it. In this way we can share what we were led to pray for so that you can join us in praying along with us through September. Roger has put together the information and you can access it byCLICKING HEREThank you for your prayers. Finally, a reminder that Dave is leading a family service tomorrow morning at 9am, and we then have our usual worship service at 10.30am, which will not be livestreamed. We'd love to see you there. We'll be looking at Mark 9 together, so you might want to have a read through that before you come.
