Sunday 29th October 2023

We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. Romans 6:4

Today we celebrate together the wonderful work of God in the lives of 4 people as they come to be baptised in our 10.30 service - an exciting day. There will be youth and children's groups after the baptisms, which we will witness together.

Yesterday evening, Pr Marcos had his last service with the portuguese congregation as he retires from being a pastor (does that ever happen??). Some of us joined with the Portuguese-speaking congregation to celebrate his time there and bless him as he enters a new phase of his walk with Jesus.

As a reminder, on Friday 3rd November we will be having a church bonfire and firework display

Love and blessings,

Dave
