To obey is better than sacrifice. 1 Samuel 15:22

Good morning!

Today we have a service all together at 10.30am in which we will be looking into 1 Samuel 12-15, which you have hopefully been able to have a read of this week. If not, you might want to peruse it before you come. The service will be led by Jessica and I will be preaching. We also have Family Communion, which will be served before our children and young people go out. We are keen that parents make the call on whether they are happy for their children to take communion, so please do sit with your children during that time. This service will not be livestreamed as Mark is unavailable today.

Then, this evening at 5.30pm, we have our Mission Prayer meeting, which is led by Roger Wells. All are welcome as we gather to pray for our overseas mission partners. We have a drink and catch up from 5.30pm and then pray from 6pm. Perhaps today is the day for you to come along!

In Matthew 18:19, Jesus says: Truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. With this in mind, we send out particular prayer topics every other week, which enable us as we pray to agree together as a church, trusting that God will respond. Finally, this Tuesday evening at 7pm it is Week 1 of our Alpha Course, so you can still come along or invite others to attend. Our introductory evening went really well and we are excited about what God will do through this course. There is also still opportunity to be part of the team who are making it all happen, so if you would like to be involved, then please do contact us.
