Sunday 4th December 2022

A person's steps are directed by the Lord.

How then can anyone understand their own way? Proverbs 20:24

The above verse is not very 'nativity' in nature but there is a reason it's there. Before I talk about today's service I would like to say what an amazing church we serve. As you know by now, I was turned down for ministerial accreditation by the Baptist Union. This was not welcoming news at the time. However, I have been blown away by the amount of encouraging messages, emails and cards Beckie and I have received in response to this. We feel very encouraged, loved and supported so just wanted to take the opportunity to say 'Thank you'. I still do not understand the way but am confident in God's ability to direct me.

Today's service is the first Sunday of the month but will not be live-streamed. We will gather to begin at 10.30 and share communion as part of our time together. There will be youth and children's provision as well this morning.

Next week there will be a families service at 9am as well as the 10.30am service & Fishes Sunday in Toftwood

This evening there will be prayer for our Mission Partners in the church at 6pm, with drinks / biscuits served from 5.30pm. Please do come and bring those who we know who serve overseas to God.

Love and blessings,

Dave
