Sunday 5th June

Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Saviour, and my hope is in you all day long. Psalm 25:4-5

Firstly, a huge thank you to all those who came along to help at our Jubilee tea and cake event yesterday. We had over 300 people come into our building, many of whom had never been in the church before. The whole event was very evidently a blessing to all, and, along with the drinks and cake, we gave away around 200 bags containing a Christian Platinum Jubilee gift book, publicity about DBC and a few goodies! These were very gratefully received and clearly appreciated. Thanks again to all who helped to make this happen - it was certainly a royal success!

This morning, you are invited to a very special service in which we have the dedications of Juniper Poole and Daisy Hook. We'll also have the opportunity to consider what God might want to teach us from the life of our Queen. The service will include communion, but we are not able to livestream it on this occasion. Following the service, we'd love you to join us for a bring and share lunch - please just bring what you can (even if it's nothing) and we'll lay it out and share it out! It's a great time to have fellowship together, so don't miss it!

Then from 5.30pm, it's the Mission Prayer meeting, when we pray for all our overseas mission partners. All are welcome, so please do come along.

Blessings,

Nigel
