Message from Elaine Bayley (with correct dates!)
As part of the Hope Explored course that we are hosting soon we would like to offer refreshments as people arrive. Would our lovely bakers amongst us mind producing some delicious tray bakes? 7 or 8 each week would be great.
If you could email me elaine.bayley@derehambaptist.org stating which week you can do that would be really helpful. 23rd May, 6th June, 13th June. Thank you so much in advance!
Just to advise that Dereham Runners 10 mile road race will be taking place next Sunday, 14th May. The start of the race at 10.30am is outside Neatherd High School/Union Drift area, and for a period of around 10/15 mins there may be congestion in that area to get the race underway. No road closures are required, but a police presence has been requested/agreed to assist/ease possible congestion. This may affect your journey to church.
The prayer focus from the Eastern Baptist Association is on Upminster Baptist Church. Upminster is a suburban town located just inside the M25 and at the end of the London Underground District Line. Please click here for the prayer points.
Thanks to everyone who has signed up to help on Dereham Day! If anyone else would like to help out, just head to the yellow topped 'Dereham Churches Together' marquee on Fleece Meadow between 10am and 4pm on Saturday and let Keith Mersh know you've arrived to help.
Blessings, Julie
