Thank you to those who have donated towards the back wall project already. Please donate if you possibly can... the date for starting the work is getting closer (18th March) and we'd love to be able to have the path area alongside the back hall wall done with block paving, for safety reasons and to look better, plus a canopy and signage.Please also pray for the success of the grant applications

 Church Members: There will be a meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, 16th April, 7pm. If there are any nominations for Deacons, Elders or Church Secretary, these must be received by Sunday, 24th March.

Dave is away until the end of today at a conference with Thiago, then day off tomorrow.

The Thanksgiving service for Paul Volle will be on Thursday, 21st March at 12.00

Bryan Darnell thanks you all for your prayers and asks that you pray he is able have the planned operation on 14th March. He also asks that you keep the people caught up in the Israel/Gaza conflict in your prayers (especially the children) and pray the aid gets to those who desperately need it

A special time where we sit together under scripture, share communion & remember and give thanks for the sacrifice of Jesus that brings us hope at Easter. Good Friday: Joint 'Dereham Churches Together' service at DBC 10am followed by refreshments before the Walk of Witness from the Queen Mother's Garden at 12

.Easter Sunday: 6.15am Sunrise Service on the Neatherd. Service at church at 10.30am. Clocks go forward.

Open Gardens: We will be having Open Gardens throughout the summer, May-September on 3rd Sunday in the month 2-4pm. If you would like to open your garden for fellowship, please speak to Barbara Yaxley.Please share your requests for prayer to prayer@derehambaptist.org and, other than for emergencies, we will share them in this regular email.

Lastly, if you are the last one out of the building and the door in the annexe won't lock from the outside, it usually means that the other door hasn't quite been bolted in correctly top and bottom, and adjusting this one will mean the door will lock. Thank you!
